Church of Ss Mary and David at Kilpeck in Herefordshire is renowned for its Norman carvings.

Alastair is engaged in the ongoing lime repointing of the rubble walling to a high visual and structural standard that will reflect the historic standing of the building while protecting the stone well into the future.

Design work

Design of new work, both architecturally and in terms of carving. Design and management of detailed reconstruction work.

Rope access

In many situations for minor work access can be gained to high areas using rope restraint methods. This permits lower cost early remedial work without the  disproportionately high cost of scaffolding. Early remedial work reduces overall maintenance costs.
